Venezuelan fiverr. Crisis and oportunities

Leaving with a tourist visa is not an option for us. It’s great you think the same way!

Argentina is very Friendly country for venezuelans, besides, we can manage to take our job to anywhere we want! That’s definitely an advantage.

Once, somebody told me: If your money comes 80% from activity 1 and 20% from activity 2, you should focus 80% of your time on activity 1 and 20% of your time on activity 2.

Once I quitted my job, and started depending on fiverr, I dedicated enough time to upgrade my selling platform. and now, i’m getting the results. 😎

It’s my advice for everyone that wants to get financial independence!

The time is NOW!

Best regards!

Saurin

Just make sure you immigrate somewhere where the cost of living is cheap. Countries like Romania, Moldova, are very cheap. I don’t know about Argentina, I imagine Buenos Aires must be expensive, but it’s a huge country, there are other areas.

The mistake a lot of Venezuelans make is that they move to expensive cities like Dallas, Chicago, LA, Miami, and New York City. Those are not affordable places, I do not recommend them, and I can speak from experience since I live in the Miami/Fort Lauderdale area.

Detroit (and the suburbs) are very affordable. Chattanooga, Omaha, Kansas City, are awesome places and affordable as well.

My sister is american and she is crazy about moving me from here. But let every thing with only a tourist visa don’t make me move still.

She’s offering you a place to stay? You should take it. Then you can get a lawyer and process your greencard since you’re family. Of course, a greencard can take years to be approved unless you marry someone (and that marriage better be real, otherwise you’re committing a crime), so you might need a student visa or an H1B. Either way, I imagine your sister is scared that someday there won’t be any more passports, any more planes flying to Venezuela, and then how will you leave?

Well,

Nobody is buying the petro lie.

It’s just another way to cheat poor people.

About emigrating, we are considering moving to Argentina because their immigration laws are Venezuelan friendly and it’s a great place to live. New Zealand looks very far far away and Canada is an option but we haven’t taken our time to consider it.

I think most venezuelans are hoping a change because, most of the venezuelans would love to come back to this country, wich has been great for many years before Maduro and before Chavez.

Canada isn’t immigrant friendly although they might be in your case, not sure.

@fastcopywriter the next big hurricane might be the one that makes you move.

Many Venezuelan people are going out from my country even by foot passing

the frontier with Colombia. Venezuelans are going to Colombia every day to

work, to exchange, and Colombians come to Venezuela to shop because the

prices of every thing here is a paradise for who has other currency than

bolívares. Brazilians, T&T, are coming to Margarita Island every year. And

Venezuelans are going to Brazil like never before. There are boats (in a

very dangerous trip) that take you in Delta Amacuro or even in Güiria and

put you in T&T. There are many persons taking a trip like that but going to

Curazao. We are Caribbeans, our ancestral people made that always. We are

not change at all.

People are not going now by plane. People are going by bus right now.

How is about that H1B? She ask me last year as sister. But it could be like

15 years! For a green card in that way. It remains 14 years… let see if

the administration of Trump really changes the things!

How is going Detroit? It is so poor or it is a leyend the empty houses

because there are not jobs?

You make remember the Counting Crows’s song. Omahaaa, in the middle of

America… A great song.

My sister says that I have to make 1500$ to live with the minimum in USA.

How much money do you earn in fiverr and what is your business here in

fiverr. And sorry about the question.

Not if you want a roof over your head in most larger cities. More like double that much. In New York or California it would be more like $10,000 a month.

Of course.

I am not thinking moving to New York City nor California’s city.

But thanks for the advice.

The H1B is approved fast, but you need to find a sponsor. Some companies don’t want to deal with H1B’s, others do. The greencard is better, you can even play the greencard lottery although since you have a sister, I don’t think you need to.

Detroit is extremely poor and most white people don’t live there. They live in the suburbs, in places like Royal Oak, Beverly Hills, etc, which are affordable. The only good areas of Detroit are Mexican Town, Greek Town, the casinos, etc. Still, if you don’t mind being a minority, you can buy a house in Detroit for very little money. Me? I wouldn’t do it. In fact, chances are you won’t find work in Detroit but in Southfield, a city 20 minutes outside Detroit.

My sister says that I have to make 1500$ to live with the minimum in USA.

Depends on where you are. In Chattanooga, you can rent an apartment in a good area for $450, maybe $600. In other places, that’s what you pay as a roommate. in a 2/1 or 2/2. On Fiverr I make $1,000 to $2,000, but I have rental income so that helps.

A middle class wage would be $50,000. Just keep in mind that making $50,000 in Chattanooga isn’t the same as Miami or San Francisco. When I lived in South Beach, I paid $1,250 for a studio plus $250 for parking, so I was losing half my income. Now, that studio is going for $1,600 to $1,800. I admit is an elegant building, a crappy home in South Beach might cost you $900.

I don’t know what Trump will do, that’s why I advice legal immigrants not to wait. Still, as much as people enjoy complaining about America’s immigration policies, our policies are easy compared to Switzerland, Japan, etc. In those countries, you might get a work permit but if you don’t marry a citizen, you’ll have to leave in 10 years.

Thank you for all your comments, I meant 1500$ for starting. And living

with my sister. It seems a lot of work in fiverr. I have to improve my gigs

as well.

🗺️ I like American for the English idiom. But not so sure what to do

still. My sister is not a state so popular for Venezuelans. No Florida, no

California, no Michigan, no Oklahoma, no New Jersey.

Where is Chattanooga?

Fiverr doesn’t pay well for most people, a middle class wage is $50,000 a year, it’s hard to enjoy life when you make less than that.

What State does your sister live in? Chattanooga is in Tennessee, 1.5 hours from Atlanta.

I think being a Venezuelan in places with very little diversity is awesome. In Chattanooga, you’ll be a fascinating person, they will be asking you where are you from because you’re so exotic. In Miami, you’re just another Latino. South Florida has too many people, besides, a good immigrant needs to adapt to his surroundings. If you’re always going to Venezuelan panaderías, hanging out with your countrymen, always talking about Venezuela, adapting to your new culture will be hard.

I lived in Venezuela for many years, in Caracas. So I know panaderías, tequeños, arepas, etc.

My family is from all over the world, America, Venezuela, Romania, Hungary, Russia, my aunt was born in England and I have distant relatives in South Africa.

I’ve never been to Missouri, I hear it’s beautiful.

😊

Las arepas are a blast! But tequeños are delicious!!! Yummy! I am going to

try to learn how to do tequeños!!! Now in Venezuela is not so cheap to buy

them. And when I leave, I will keep my knowledge with mine.

😳

Missouri is over all… BIG. (as US is)
