How does Fiverr "Recommend" Filters work?

Hi.



The fiverr recommend filter in each gigs category shows gigs randomly. Some are popular gigs whereas some are new gigs. What I have noticed and wanted to highlight was there seem to be a lot of gigs that are not doing too well but still they occupy the recommend ranking spots for months. Its really hard to find place up there for your gig. I don’t know what seems to be the criteria for new gigs to be up there. Anybody got any clue ?

I have been very disappointed with the way it works too but nothing seems to be changing. I guess they just want to promote new gigs!

Getting exposure on your new gig is quiet difficult now on fiverr.
