Why do some sellers have a "green name' for the gig?

I would like to know about it as well. I am NEW and my gigs have green name.

I noticed it today as well - I’m guessing it’s a bug?

New gigs with no sales appear to have a green colored title as of last night.

New feature? Bug? Who knows.

EDIT: Typeface is slightly different and offset, looks uuuuugly.

Makes sense. 🙂

I noticed that, too, but I thought my browser was acting funny due to cookie pollution 😃

But judging by the bad look, I’d say it’s either a bug, or an in-development feature 👀

Yeap, It may be an effort to make them more captivating in search results.

I think it’s the latter, but I’m not willing to bet money on it just yet!

The green stands out like The Mask.

I hope it works some way… otherwise I am in trouble… I have my gigs in green

I can see green on a gig without reviews of a level 2 seller, which is no pro gig, though the standard gig of the package is called “Proffesional” if that counts…

It’s a 0 sales thing, not a Pro thing.

The above was mainly a joke, even if it´s correct, because I found the gig name so interesting.

But I see green on a level 2 seller’s gig that has 13 reviews too.

Hm, I had clicked on that gig then back to the category listing and the gig wasn´t there anymore, either green or black, when clicking more pages, I only saw green on zero review gigs too. Strange, but I´m browsing the magic category, after all.

Guess I must have dreamed that somehow, green only for zero review gigs, not just new sellers though, but those, level 1 and level 2, so it seems to be a feature for new gigs, not for new sellers necessarily.

Maybe this is Fiverr’s way of encouraging buyers NOT to buy from new sellers? 😜

I don´t know, ugly or not, it does stick out a lot, at least unless you filter for new sellers; it might at least make some people click for curiosity about what´s up with the green if nothing else. So maybe don´t fret preemptively, people with green gigs, who knows, green could be the new black… or back to the basics… or something.
