How do I get my first gig?

Hi Everyone,

I have been on fiverr for a couple of days now, and I uploaded my gigs, wrote the perfect descriptions. I even put up a promotional gig.

I am getting no response. Then someone mentioned Buyers Requests, and I tried to search requests but I can’t see any for the past 5 days.

Is it because the holidays are on or am I doing something wrong?
