Trying to edit videos.. No luck. Weird codec, not supported by any programs

Just looked up your camera. Try to find a copy of Nero 8. (That’s what comes with it)



If you can’t find it try Vitrualdub. It’s free and I’m pretty sure edits .mpeg4. Or, you can convert with it. (I’m 90% sure)



Or, you can simply convert. This is a free program, but it only converts .mpeg4 to .avi files. Which you should be able to use in almost anything.

I tried virtualdub, and i couldnt figure out how to get it to work.



I can try and find Nero 8, thanks for that suggestion.



Also, i do not want to convert. 8gb file takes literally the entire day to convert, and the video/audio is out of sync and the graphics are garbled up. 😦
