Translated a whole book from Dutch to English

I translated a whole book from Dutch to English 😃 one of my biggest translation gigs so far! Definitely had a learning curve. After a while without actually realizing it the content really starts to grow on you, and the longer you’re translating from one language to the other it sort of goes on auto-pilot from there on, of course the occasional hiccups come up where you don’t know in what context some words are used, but all in all that’s what makes it a challenging, yet a fun experience I must say. Dutch is one of those languages that comes up with a lot of neologisms on the regular so that kind of threw me off at some points! Long project while being a college student definitely has its challenges of both doing school work and remembering the clock is always ticking!
