@jerebro the samson go was actually on my list as well. I was looking at the avid pro vocal mic as well, too many choices.

@mintyone I would like a rather decent set up but would also like something just for now to do a better quality job then maybe something more advanced as I go on. But like you said should I just go for it now. Or do a better job and have to update later.

I do both voiceover/audiobook recordings on it and vocals for songs. For the money, it does great work @ceceliavo.



@lparziale, I record in my library, which is on the second floor of my house in a fairly quiet neighborhood. Sometimes I have to pause for a dog or a passing car, but it does well enough. One time, though, the mic picked up a tv being played in the basement because there’s a vent! 😃
