Add on after delivery, and after clock has run out

I am currently going through a third revision with a customer. Their feedback was that they loved the voice-over, but they changed a large portion of the script so I told them there would be a $5 rerecord fee.

I have delivered on time for the original product, but now as we are our third revision and they take quite a while to get back to me; will adding the $5 extra after the clock has already run up, penalize me and actually show up as “late” or affect my “delivered on time” rate?
