First-time buyers need help from writer sellers: what do you expect to see from my request:

My blog is about traveling with my world-schooling child and how to take business trips to China to look for wholesale suppliers. I have never purchased any writing service before and I couldn’t find any answers online. So here are my assumptions:

If I need original written content for my blog, is the list here what I need to submit? Article title, summary, keywords, Target readers (or customers), type of article: ( interview, list, story type or free-style etc.), word count, reference links.

If I need an article rewritten, what you are going to do with grammar errors? Also,
How about I provide the writer all the materials I wish to see in the article? If the writer uses the provided materials to rewrite the article in his/her own way without additional research, it that consider rewriting or writing a new article?

All of those would be very helpful to your prospective seller. Many buyers post they need an article written but do not specify the number of words and it makes it difficult to make an offer. Also, you might state if you want the article written in the first person or the third person.

I would love to have a personal blog for social purpose and I thought my experience with Chinese wholesale market would be helpful to business and family travelers and here are some sample contents:

• How to use Chinese Do-it-All super app WeChat on your business - Don’t miss out the 800+ million active users in 2018
• Business travel with kids – top 8 things to do in none tourist city Shenzhen
• 90 days step by step build a fashion brand- learn from my mistake
• Journey to the earth largest sinkhole – Two month scenic road trip itinerary in Western China
• Trip to my favorite movie destination － 12 grapes at midnight in Spain
• Love letter to my daughter — 40 things I wish to learn at your age
• 40 green travel tips for responsible travelers

Each of my blog post tend to be long and some of them are kind of personal. If English is my first language, I would prefer to write my own with my own tone. However it took too much time for me to do so as ESL person.

Your ESL should not be an issue for a good proofreader writer. As a Buyer on Fiverr, you need to be smart. Read the Seller’s whole gig. Look at their reviews. If they do not have good reviews, I would steer clear. However, even the rating system is not 100% reliable. Sadly there are groups of people who write glowing reviews for one another.

Also now that you have posted that you are a Buyer in the forum many Sellers will contact you through messages. That is against Fiverr’s Terms of Service. So if they do contact you, then you have the option to flag :black_flag: them, and they will not be able to bother you again.

I need to add that to my gig! Thanks for reminding me. Yes, I write all my content. You can check if something is plagiarized by running it through one of the free plagiarism checkers such as Copyscape. However, even then you need to run the work through MS word grammar checker to make sure it is not plagiarized because there is an app that hides plagiarised materials from Copyscape. In MS Word materials that have passed CopyScape will appear as unreadable.

Yes, @catwriter is correct. People you do not know cannot contact you through messages to try to sell you something you did not request them to. All gigs have a place that says “Contact Me.” That is fine for a Buyer to contact them to ask questions about the Seller’s gig. In fact, I prefer. Buyers do that. Then we can discuss the Buyer’s needs to see if the Buyer and Seller are a good match.
