You might want to edit your profile description. The way it is at the minute you’re likely to get reported for it to be honest.

Why not make it a bit more informative and friendly? Take out the swear words obviously.

You’ve got lots of room left in your description to tell your buyers what you offer - make good use of it! ☀️

You’re a writer so write up a good informative profile and description. Use up most of the space you are given for that. And lose the bad words. They will possibly ban you for that.

This is where you should try to appear professional so people will want to hire you. And yes even if you are a rapper, you still need to do that. As a creative writer I’m sure you can find a way to appeal to your target audience without using those words.

You may have a good sized audience for your gig, but you really need to sell it with your words. Your gig involves writing, so show how well you write in your profile and description. No one wants a writer who only has one or two sentences that are poorly written.

Rap is not my thing and I don’t have much knowledge about it, but I do remember hearing the line “rap/hip hop is all about attitude” in some movie a while ago.

I am guessing that your lines “you want some f* ckin rap…i got that sh*t…” is the whole attitude thingy, but I assume that attitude should appear only when you’re performing, NOT when you are trying to do business.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to comment, and give pointers.
I wholeheartedly agree with everyone here. When i changed my profile to what it is now it was because I had given a long, friendly, and inviting description to myself and my gigs to no luck (perhaps i am a bit too impatient).

Also, I didn’t even realize that the facebook thing would be a violation of the TOS, so thank you for that. My whole plan with that part was to send people free bars every so often as a show of thanks, and to video chat so I would be able to further assist in the recording process.

As I stated, I do agree with you guys about the revisions I should make, I will make them on friday if I am still without orders.

I searched “rapping” and found loads of pages of others offering the same service. The brutal laws of supply and demand apply very acutely on Fiverr. There are always lots more people trying to sell stuff here than there are people willing to buy. If you leave gigs up long enough you might get a sale or two here and there. I got my first sale in late September two weeks after joining, then I’ve had nothing since then.

One thing you can try if you’re a writer is to start a blog or serialized book where you write about your writing process. I’ve been getting so much traffic from my book on wattpad where I write about memoir-writing. I started the serialized book for fun, just because I like to write, and it’s turned out to be a wonderful marketing tool.

I’ve been telling all my freelance writer friends to do the same 🙂
