Hi,

These are the source files for a graphic, done in a format that allows for scaling without pixelation (the opposite to raster formats like a .psd file). Vector files can be .cdr, .svg, .ai or .eps (the latter two are more common). Your graphics designer should be working in one of these formats if it is for a logo for example.
