A top investor I respect said that 2% of Indians have a per capita income of $25,000+/year, 18% have a per capita income of $2,000+ a year and a vast majority of the population, 80%, has a per capita income of just $300/year. It’s not an easy country to manage. Don’t envy PM Modi, he has the toughest job in the world. Regardless, Happy Diwali! Diwali is when we forget our problems as individuals and as a nation and look at the future with renewed optimism. Things are only going to get better!
