I am afraid of negative ratings. If I will force him to accept the order then he will give me negative ratings.

Then cancel it. It’s sad you have to do that but you have no choice if you don’t want a negative review. It’s probably not worth fighting him over it if you need to not get bad reviews. I don’t normally tell people to do that but it may be best and it’s only $4 you lose.

really we are totally helpless, Nothing we can do .

That’s not true. You can stand by your work and expect to be paid for your time and talents. Don’t be taken advantage of, even the TOS backs you.

It happened couple of times. Even I had 100% proof. Its One kind of tricks of Buyer and I can assure you they are not real buyer , they are just a Middle man

What is the solution if buyer order you GIG and complete his task of fixing issues on his website then he change the password of login there. And then he says to cancel the order otherwise I will put negative ratings there. So what is solutions for that?

Maybe a more definitive set of goals will help? “Fixing things on website” is entirely open-ended. For example, if you are delivering a set of logos the goals are more clear. Setting files could cause problems on their own while they fix issues. For example, when you were testing everything is fine but when the user start visiting they encounter issues that require further fix.

If you can’t rule out the possibility the buyer is intentionally doing this, then you should argue with CS more to remove the negative review as a result (the CS rep with cartoon profile pic are usually weaker than the CS rep without a cartoon pic, make sure you escalate the issue to the right people, of course you have to think how and why you deserve more attention and make it reasonable), and maybe try to discuss with sellers offering the same service for a long term solution for this sort of services?

Let the buyer get the work you have done for free and then destroy them. Find someone on an alternative freelance site whom you can pay to $5 to fire a low orbit ion cannon at your scammer’s website for a month. In the meantime, do a whois on their domain name and make their reputation eat social media and brand review nitroglycerin.

This scammer will only come back at you under a different pseudonym if you don’t. Also, revenge can be very very sweet.

Good tip! 🙂 Best way to teach those scammers.
