That might be just an empty threat but it can psychologically bring stress to the client. If I were him I would bring the incident to the customer support and contact the police. The seller must know that we are serious here and his/her little games will not be tolerated.

The buyer should not pay any form of money, it an empty threaten.Talk to the police or higher a private investigator to track down the seller.

threatening buyer is not right to do . if im not mistaken reading to the earlier post . that state seller is blackmailing buyer by demanding sum of large money and thats crime .

crime does not pay. dont pay any money to that seller . report to the police anyway my point of view that seller cannot be possibly harm that buyer if that seller doesnt know his / her buyer detail like house etc… or anything personal info .

its online transaction here dude… how can possibly that seller harm buyer if he/ she doesnt even know buyer detail? unless buyer giving out that all information at beginning . am i right? forgive me if im wrong thats just my 2 cent opinion.

as for @misscrystal my suggestion dont get involved on that matter leave it to customer support and suggest ur buyer to contact police and fiverr support thats it.

all the best

the question is how the seller get that such personal info of the buyer? by ordering gigs is not requiring giving out that such personal info right .

well in that case right thing to do is call the authority for safety reason
