My fiverr credit was not applied on my next order. Got charged the full amount

I had to cancel and resubmit an order with a seller due to some errors in the first order. I got my $45 back in credit, then proceeded to purchase the order with the same seller for $105. However, my paypal account was charged the full $105 and the credit of $45 still shows up in my fiverr acount as a positive balance. Why would that be?

Refunds don’t go back to your paypal, refunds can only go to your fiverr account as credit. (This would be bad business for Fiverr if they allowed 100% refunds).



Fiverr’s payment system isn’t coded to allow for split transactions. It won’t draw everything out of one account, then the remainder out of another. So, as kjblynx said, if you don’t have enough in your fiverr account balance, it will draw the entire amount from your paypal.
