Suggestions for gigs

I joined Fiverr recently .My gigs are virtual assistant (including Data entry, documentation) ,F
files conversion and articles writing. I am expert in these tasks.
Talking about my writing experience, I write out articles in daily life.Similarly I have worked at an institution and arranged many documents and articles for that institution.
My gigs had 15 views after 3 days I created.I have sent some buyers requests but they didn’t even ask me about. Even I was the one to send first offer to some requests and not getting order.A person asked me to send a test article,I worked hard and prepared an article with 0% plagiarism but he said he had many applications and pleased with writing but didn’t ask still more.
What do you people recommend me?What should I do?

If you only joined/created your gigs recently, you might just need to give yourself more time, keep sending offers to Buyers Requests and maybe work on your profile and gig descriptions so long. Your profile and slogan look very ‘busy’ to me, for example, I´d recommend adding spaces after punctuation marks. I´d scrap the ‘is my hobby’ too; if you want to sell articles, you shouldn´t consider it a hobby and potential buyers usually don´t want someone who does whatever they want to buy as a hobby but professionally.

I think there is a lot of competition for your gigs as you have them now - you say you did ‘Electrical engg.’ (I can guess you mean engineering, but I´d type it out, still). Perhaps you could try variations of your gigs leveraging your education in that field, you know, leave the ‘general’ gigs, but also make some more specific to your experience, ‘I will write an article on (whatever fields/subjects you are especially knowledgeable about because of your Electrical Engineering background)’.
Lastly, if nothing you try, neither giving it more time, works, you might want to consider trying with fewer ‘trades’ but concentrate on the 1 or 2 things you can do best or which are similar things. The less different services someone offers, the more specialised the few they do offer, look like, I think.

Hope any of that might help. Good luck!

Find Your Niche:
The best Gig ideas are small, scalable tasks that only take you a few minutes to complete. As a seller, your first assignment is to break down your skillset into a small offering that it makes sense to sell starting at $5.00. When defining what exactly your Gig will be, ask yourself:
Does it take me a few (5 to 15 minutes) to complete this action?
Is this action or service scalable? Could I deliver multiples of it in batches?
Are there extra services or components that could be built onto this task?
If your answer to all of those questions is “Yes”, then you have a viable Gig on your hands!

Fiverr’s services start at $5.00. Although it can be tempting to offer promotions or discounts so that the orders will start rolling in, offering your work for free is not a recommended approach to connect with sellers. It is important to set your potential buyer’s expectation that your work can’t be obtained for free. It’s essential to know your worth as a seller and not to compromise it in order to attempt attracting buyers.

Looks good! I hope the new gig with the more specific article writing will work for you, and the others too, of course. 🙂

Always do a good proofreading of all your texts, to avoid any typos, like you have ‘_Any’ in your ‘convert documents’ gig, I don´t think the underscore belongs there? Just read everything an extra time or two, or maybe let a friend or relative have a look, it´s much easier for others to notice errors than for oneself, hence the proofreading gigs. For some gigs, it won´t matter that much, but people who are looking for writers, someone to convert their files and the like, I think many care about such details.

There are at least 21 grammatical errors in your first post.

There are already too many who offer their services as writers who are not able to write correctly.

Unless you want to start your fiverr career getting bad reviews I suggest that you eliminate that writing gig.

I do welcome you to fiverr and wish you much success here. When you write professionally, you need to know correct grammar and this is something you do not have a handle on at this point.

I recommend going all through this site including the part where it talks about when to use capital letters:

This was an informal post.

miscrystal!A good lesson.Next time,I’ll take care of it in normal conservation, too

You all helped me a lot.I recognised today that in informal writing,I never cared about grammatical mistakes. I learned a big deal to write with correct grammar and punctuation wherever you write either formal or informal especially for a writer whose all concerns are these things.

Thank you all.

Hello everyone!
Hope you all are doing well.

Give it a full read.
I am from Pakistan. I have my gigs of article writing and virtual assistant .Mainly,I have my experience in article writing but all my work I did is offline and joined Fiverr recently. I created this gig a week before ,it has 74 impressions and 34 views. I have sent many buyers requests but none of them contacted me save one yet he didn’t place the order. Now, I need answers to some of my questions:
1.I have a mindset. As I am not a native English speaker and most of sellers with orders and reviews are native speakers but it is not necessary that one who isn’t a native speaker isn’t a good writer and other way around. Is it true? I need guidance.
2.Here is the link of my article writing gig:
https://www.fiverr.com/asadsultanawan/write-500-words-article-for-you-on-any-topic?funnel=36955fcb-de3f-4f91-b6c2-a340ee86525d
All I need of you people to point out mistakes in it and suggestions to improve this gig.
3.When I send buyer requests to someone, many others will always send and one thing I can’t understand, in offer makers, there are many sellers with reviews ,then how can a client pllace an order to a fresher while the one with reviews is available (I can add here that it is equally possible that budget for both can be the same and same goes for requirements and extras). How this dilemma can be solved?
waiting for your response.
Thanks
Asad sultan

Non-native speakers can definitely be good writers! I know some non-native writers who are amazing at what they do, and some native speakers who can barely string together a sentence.

I won’t comment on grammar or anything because I don’t feel up to it at the moment, but your premium package says that if the buyer orders ten articles, all ten will be free. The spacing in your gig description is also rather excessive.

You can’t really solve it. Buyers are free to choose whoever they want to complete a task. It’s tough, but can you really blame them for picking someone with reviews?

Hi mate,
Since yoi sre good in writing why don’t you do a video scripts? That is very popular here 🙂

*Just a side comment, I think when you want to use a comma (,) you should put it at the end with a space after it, like this. Please check!

Hey, checking your gig, If I was a buyer looking for someone to write articles for me, I would maybe like to see a really well-formulated gig description. Maybe you could explain a little bit more in detail so that the buyer gets the idea that you can do more than writing down key points of the topics you work with.
Also, I think I am having a little issue with understanding your prices. The normal package says you will write 1 article with 500 words, whereas the premium one offers 10 (+1 for free) articles with up to 2000 words? Does that mean each article in the premium package consists of only 200 words? The standard package offers 5 articles with each 200 words as well. I’m not a writer and therefore I am not sure if it can work like this. But out of the perspective of a buyer, I think it would leave questions open. Maybe for that matter, you could add gig extras, for example: “I will write articles each consisting of more than 200 words (up to…) for an extra of $XYZ.”

Many people ask for articles more than one. This is for the person who requires articles more than one.

Thanks janali.

Today in morning,I was making changes in my gigs.

The mistake you pointed out was because of those changes.

I have corrected.I was just asking why are the nonnatives feeling difficulty in getting orders or it is just a myth.

Thanks for your response.

Hi. I just looked it over and your line “Order 5 articles, one I will do free for you.” does not sound right. Maybe try If you order 5 articles I will write another one for you free of cost " so it does not sound so choppy. Hope this helps.

“With an offline experience of more than a year” sounds kind of awkward and is also sort of a vague phrase. Maybe elaborate on what exactly the experiences were?

E.g. I have written for numerous publications on a broad range of topics…

Just an example, as it should probably be even more specific if you’re going to tailor it for your own profile.

The gig looks good. Maybe add another example because the one you showed has typos and some choppy sentences. Adding some Q and A’s would not hurt either! 🙂

Your title also is a little off.
