Got ripped off, can't leave a review

I ordered a logo design gig from user **********. Not only did they deliver the order late, they only delivered one logo concept, not the fiver ordered, and they sent me the linkin park logo. Luckily when I was asking friends for feedback on the logo one of them recognised it as the linkin park logo, otherwise this would have caused major embarrassment and legal trouble for my business. I requested to cancel the order, and they declined, and then requested to cancel, so I accepted. Now I can’t leave a review to warn others, this is absolutely ridiculous. They have all five star reviews, so they obviously use this method to stop users from being able to warn others of their rip off practices.

Also, I now can’t get my money back, I only have fiverr credit? I’m disgusted by what I thought was a good website, that I can’t even leave a review despite the fact that I was a customer for the gig, and now fiverr is withholding my money.

I’m sorry to hear about your experience. However, you should edit out the username of the seller. It’s not permitted on the forum.

Don’t let one bad apple spoil Fiverr. There are plenty of great designers who can help you out.

Thanks for the replies. I will find another seller and give them a chance, although this left a bad mark on my thoughts of Fiverr. I had a bad experience a few months ago as well and dismissed as being unlucky and choosing a bad seller, but this time I realised that it seems Fiverr is on the seller’s side regardless of whether they are good sellers.

It’s a difficult line to walk on both accounts. From our perspective, the buyers have weapons of refusal, blackmail and leverage. But when a situation like yours arrives - we see that there are pros and cons to both sides of this fence. Which, is true of any market.

Customer service will take care of you. They’re pretty accurate with these types of issues.
