Can someone tell me if Average Price is showing on my gigs?

I’m seeing average prices as well on everyone’s gigs. It’s honestly drives my OCD crazy seeing such random numbers. Purely from an aesthetic standpoint it looks messy and unorganized without things ending in a 0 or 5. I hate that it’s somewhat publicizes earnings as well. Fiverr really dropped the ball with this one and I hope they change it soon. I haven’t seen one reason I agree with for why it should stay.

I’ve been trying to stay as unbiased as possible and wait it out since it is supposed to be a test. So far I haven’t come up with a reason to like it either, but I’m trying to be optimistic. Right now that does mean waiting semi-patiently for them to be done with the test. 🙂

No one is buying my gigs at all except older repeat clients. And I can see that my gigs have excellent placement in the listings too.

I can’t imagine doing all this testing for this long if they don’t intend to make this permanent.

Sorry I’m being repetitious about this but it’s such a sad state of affairs.

Huh. What is the point exactly of showing average price?

If I’m a buyer, I don’t care what is the total average value for orders other buyers have placed.

If Fiverr wants to show that a larger package is ideal, then they should instead highlight those extras or packages on the gig’s page, with a text HOT or something similar.

Now a buyer can just see the average price and say to themselves that “This is not Fiverr! That’s way more than $5. I’m outta here.”

I agree!

The way to increase the average prices is to give us some more room to describe our extras and not have a little question mark next to the title of an extra a buyer has to click on!

If our extras were bigger and bolder on the gig pages with more room for the descriptions we would see a dramatic increase in sales. It is the extras that make an order price go up.

I have just discovered Average Prices on my own gigs this evening.
One of my gig shows “Average 56$” whereas my price is between 10 and 40$. I think this detail can afraid potential buyers. My average price is so high because lots of my clients ask for special offers for 5 or 10 gigs so the amount of the order can be 100 or 200$.
I really don’t understand how this information can be interesting for the buyers and how it can help our business ! Is there an explanation ?

I have not gotten a sale since yesterday.
I think this is the reason.
I’ve had six days now of almost normal sales activity. I can’t see anything but the usual starting at prices so have no way of knowing but suspect that when this is on it might stop my sales. It is unheard of for me to go a day without any sales until this started.

Seems that Fiverr can’t manage his “Average”, “From” and “Starting at” prices.

Now, for one of my gig I can see “Starting at 56$” (starting, not average !) but my lower price is 10$.

It’s written 56$ when I see this gig from my computer. But when I use Fiverr app it’s written : “From 10$”.
