Hi everyone. Am new on fiverr just a week and some days now. What will be my selling level if i sell 5 x 2 gigs to one buyer with positive feedback? Ie one buyer buy 10 gigs at same time from me and he leave a positive feed back for each gig, can that make me lever 1 seller?

My tip, which probably has been mentioned, is market it like crazy. Use social networking, tell your facebook friends. It will take a while for your gig to take off. I originally did an art gig here, which didn’t sell so fast. It wasn’t until I did forum posting that I started making some okay money.

You really need to find something that people want. I know it’s common on the site, but stuff like; getting twitter followers, do art gigs and so on, seem to do very well. If you have a certain talent, just try it out and see how it goes.

I have a few tips for all the newbies out there. Make sure your gig is accurate. When i started out I did not go into enough detail and i had people trying to order services that i did not even have listed.

Another tip is to always make sure to have good communications with your buyers. the more that you communicate the more the buyers will be willing to leave you feedback which not only helps your rank but when people see all the good comments they tend to buy more.

Also, always make sure to deliver your gigs on time. I would be a 100% feedback but instead i ma 95% because in the beginning I put too short of a time frame on my gigs which did not help. Now, if I need a little more time i just contact the buyers and let them know. They are usually very understanding as they want quality work done.

Reply to @oldbittygrandma: That is a great series you’ve started! I have one video for my gigs on Youtube. I think its time to get a video per gig just for youtube/facebook.

I also need to improve my gig videos. Can you add more than one to your gigs?

I don’t have any type of video equipment though. Here’s what I did with jsut my laptop camera:

Resume help for Finance Positions: http://fiverr.com/resume_wizard/offer-expert-advice-for-editing-your-resume-for-a-finance-position

Resume help for IT positions: http://fiverr.com/resume_wizard/offer-expert-advice-for-editing-your-resume-for-an-internet-technology-position

Better to do my amateur hour video making? From reading the video restrictions on Fiverr gigs, I was afraid to have someone else make it and have it be rejected.

Work your butt off and go above and beyond for $5 at first. Once you level up, you can then move some of your efforts into the gig extras section so you can finally start making a good hourly wage 😉

Also, add a gig video.

Hi guys, I also add some bonuses like buy 3 gigs and get 1 free. The terms are that they leave good feedback on the first 3 gigs. that way i get all the feedback, an upsell to 3 gigs and a happy customer!

I would say, offer what you like doing and what you know you can deliver. Over deliver to customers and you might end up having long time return customers. In one of my gigs i state i will deliver a 300 word article but i always find myself stopping past 500 words, I have seen it working wonders. Have a nice day people!! :-h

I would say that when your gig is brand new and you haven’t established a track record of outstanding quality work yet, you might want to consider giving them a deal they can’t refuse. Decide what you will offer for $5 and what you can offer as an upgrade to your base gig. In the beginning, include these upgrades with the base gig at no charge. This will help get orders faster and it will also display your advanced work in the portfolio. Once you have been upgraded to level 2, you can revise your gig listing so that you can now charge for the upgrades. Since you have a couple examples in your portfolio and hopefully a few raving reviews from happy buyers, you should be well on your way to more sales and making more money.

Hi there. I’m new here and I was wondering how to send the video to the customer. Can you send it through this site or do you have to send a DVD? Could someone please tell me exactly how that works? Thank you ! m/
