Someone offer me a quick task for big amount. And send me a zip folder for reference. That contain 3 jpg files 1 exe file and i lnk file named “PDF.lnk”. My virus guard detected a issue in those files. I did see only the jpg files and didn’t open any other files. I said him/her I check the folder. Without any other word Client ask me “Did you open the PDF file” And I said to him/her “No. I couldn’t open that”.
Then he/she ask me to use a team viewer and he/she can fix the issue by login into my PC. I refuse that. But client want me to do that so badly. I feel fishy about that so finally I said him/her that “I only contact my clients through fiverr platform. If you like the way how I work, Please let us discuss the scope here”… Then he/she become silent. Still online. but no more messages. 🙂
Have you fiverrs ever had same experience?

Don’t ever open a .zip file that you get from someone you don’t know.

Those can contain a virus or a hack of your computer or fiverr account.

Then he/she ask me to use a team viewer

He/she definitely was trying to hack into your account.

As other users have already suggested a safe and easy course of action with that particular so-called buyer, I would like to add one more thing here, for everyone reading this thread. While TeamViewer may seem a safe option, that person can easily syskey you or rat your computer. So, I would suggest you cut any further communications with them by blocking their profile through your inbox. You should also report them to the Fiver Trust and Safety team, to ensure that no one else gets affected by their illicit activities.

This is a scam artist.

Block him and alert Fiverr right away about that users fraudulent activities.

Yes, I already inform fiverr team and hope they are tracing his/her behavior now.
