How to stop a seller who keeps harassing you for gigs?

Hi,

I have this seller who was interacting with me for a gig. After weeks / months of useless rant i found he is not qualified and we moved on. Now every other day he keeps sending me messages begging me for jobs. I tried being polite, understanding to out rude but he doesn’t seem to be deterred at all. In our similar platforms (****) i have an option to end conversation with the seller. I don’t seem to have an option in fiverr. Can anyone advise me what i should do?

You can report him. If you click the “Report” flag icon on the right of the message, a few options should pop up. One of them is blocking the user in question so that you won’t receive further messages.
I’m pretty sure in this case you should both report them and block them, as this person seems to be engaging in straight-up spam.

I generally block unsolicited sellers.

The reason is simple, They do not know what I want. If they do not know what I want they ere:

1. Wasting their time
2. Wasting my time

If I was nice I would suggested to them to compete on quality. It is noticeable that many of the people who do this compete on price by offering lots for the lowest possible price. They can do this because they are time rich and cash poor. However even for them it works out at a remarkably low hourly rate - especially when you think of how many times they get banned…
