Buyer did not send the source file

Hi,
One of my buyers has not send me the source file to start work on her project. She has been offline for two days. The order countdown is ticking and only 15 hours are left to deliver. I have sent three messages but no response from buyer.

I need your help how to handle this project?

I don’t want late deliveries or cancellation.

Late deliveries are affecting my profile rating. Before this order, I had another buyer who did not respond. I had successfully delivered work. Then he came online after due date he requested a revision which marked the order as late.

Right now, you have one of two options:

• Cancel the order

• Submit the delivery and finish it when they come back online

You had mentioned that you don’t wish to cancel the order, but at times it is just better to try and go for that, rather than accept a late order.

To avoid this, you could submit the order as best you can and simply assure them that when they get back to you, you can continue where they left off and make the necessary changes that’s required. At the end of the day, it all depends on what you’re comfortable doing.

You can redo their delivery when they get back to you, since there’s nothing stopping you from doing that. To be fair, though, if you are lucky, they might get back to you before the auto-complete goes through and you can go from there.
