Also, even if you’re going by “traditional” metrics, getting a lot of orders doesn’t really mean much. I used to have a higher amount of orders on average, but they were all for $5 gigs. Now I only do 2-3 a week because they’re in batches and are for a higher amount.
(It does mean fewer reviews, but I can’t really force my customers to do five separate orders over the span of a week when one custom order would do the trick 😂)

Total gig count per week matters far less than total revenue per week.

Some sellers will sell ten $50 gigs ($500) and another will sell forty $5 gigs ($200). Who did better off? Which do you think Fiverr would prefer to promote?

The Fiverr ranking/search system is rewarding the sellers who earn more money, rather than just the ones with the most gigs.

Focus on quality, what you can do, and what your peers in your category are doing. (Learn their best practices, improve your gigs and delivery.)

How many gigs someone else delivers is a weak comparison of success.
