Featured Gigs Observation

I’ve noticed that the “Featured” gig label seems to be appearing on the more expensive gigs in categories I follow closely. Starting prices of $50 instead of say $5 or $10 as was previously the case.

In many instances, these are fairly old gigs with just 2 or 3 sales. In some cases, no sales at all.

Is this another initiative designed to move the pricing of gigs generally upwards, and perhaps to make the PRO pricing not such a giant leap?

I strongly suspect the featured label is an automatic bot that simply features any gigs it feels would make a sale.

From my personal research the featured badge has no prominence in any way.
