The best Practices for Buyer request section

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone, Appreciated Fiverr community, This topic that I’m adding seeks to have your feedback in order to improve the section of Buyer request, giving effective contribution to apply principles of best practices.

Currently many new sellers go to the buyer request section, to publish their services (this is the place to post the gig), this brings a discomfort when we search the buyer request.

There is only one button “remove”, but there should be another button that says “report”, in which the team of fiverr can be notified that those sellers that are posting in that section (inappropriate place to post any gig) are giving a bad Use, and somehow warn and penalize it that irresponsible user by accumulating a report number.

Best Regards
😃

We had that feature but it did little good. If you want to report misuse of Buyers Request you have to send an email to support with a screen capture of the culprits. That said, it becomes increasingly tedious going this route and it doesn’t stop others from repeating the cycle.

What have been suggesting here on the forum is to have an actual human read through the requests and weed out those that are genuine and keep the adverts from getting published. The best course of action at the moment is to just remove the advertising posts from view and browse the section till you come across a promising post.

Hello, thanks for your reply, Is a pleasure Listen to your comment, yes it seems an alternative, But a humble recommendation for a more efficient management and good practices the seller that is published in the buyer request section improperly, can be alert in a certain way, and this can give to him a well-founded fear that it will be denounced by the community of Sellers and also will allow you the team of Fiverr to be more effective to alert that seller that are using the section in an inappropriate way.

We as sellers should be focused on Selling, so the buyer request section should only be service requirement. If we dedicate ourselves to print screen and send it (in which I am very open to collaborating) this will take our time, which should be Invested to send well-prepared offers.

Also, another recommendation is in the section where buyers post their requirements, there should be a warning indicating that it is an area restricted to buyers of services and thus avoid the misuse of the section.

Best Regards

😃
