Buyer has not submitted info, now Fiverr is warning of Penalty

Hi Folks,

I have a buyer who placed an order for a product description and included a broken link to his product. That means I had no information with which to write his product description.

I wrote him twice to point out the problem and to ask for his product details so I could begin writing his order. He never responded. 10 hours before the order was due, I initiated a dispute and selected the category ‘I didn’t receive enough information from the buyer’. I also offered to extend the delivery time of the order by a further three days.

The buyer has not logged onto Fiverr for the last two days and now Fiverr is warning me of its late delivery penalty saying delivering a gig late can result in 10% lower buyer activity.

How do you guys handle situations like this?
