Is there any way I can rank my GIG to show it on the first page?

I have a GIG titled ‘I will do photo editing A to Z’, and I want it to show on the first page when searched with the keywords ‘Photo Editing’. I did put that keyword in tag, but no luck.

I am really confused what SEO entails… Do I only have to research the keywords and pick up the ones that will work best? Or there is more?
