As a fan of Linkin Park for over 8 years, today is the darkest day for me and probably the Music Industry in general. Chester the lead singer of Linkin Park committed suicide.

Linkin Park's Chester Bennington Dead at 41

Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington died by suicide at age 41.

I don’t know how to process this…this legitimately has left me devastated. This guy was legitimately the reason why I even started listening to Rock or American music in general.

For those of you who have been suicidal, or had thoughts about suicide, please find someone to talk to. There’s nothing to be embarrassed about. Find someone that you can be honest with. We all feel a little dark sometimes. Some of us more than others. We all need hope. We all need healing. We are all the same. Please reach out to someone.

My boyfriend texted this to me when I was at work and I was actually just shocked. He was so young too.
I haven’t been following LP as much recently, but their music was among one of the first things I listened to that wasn’t just stuff from my mom’s iPod…
Thanks for the link too. I hope it helps people out if they need it.

In addition to that, I suggest reading this famous book…everyone should read it. Was recommended by a Fiverr seller and it is very, very good.
