New fiferr Video Editor/writer/translator confused about buyer request for promoting

Hi all,

I’ve been on Fiverr for the past few weeks and have difficulty getting my gigs ordered. I often go to the buyers request to check out if I can do anything over there however I noticed a lot of fiverr sellers posting their stuff as promotion, so I was like okay there could be no harm in doing that so I posted my gig offer in the buyers request and got an email warning that my account might be suspended in the future if I continued. My question is if this is clearly not allowed how do so many fiverr users get around it and post their buyers request as a gig promotion? I see “requests” like “I will do any video editing” “I can translate this language to this language”

If others break the rules by posting ads in buyer requests (possibly because they also saw others doing it) they could also likely get their accounts in trouble, especially if they continue. Don’t post ads in the buyer request section as like the message said, it could get your account (just like other people’s) into trouble. It also doesn’t help. The system isn’t designed for that.
