Hiya! Is anyone else working full-time via Fiverr?

Do you have any tips? What kind of gigs are you doing?

I’m just getting started so any advice would be very much appreciated.

Kelly.

Welcome to Fiverr!

I’ve been working full-time on Fiverr for about two months now. I still operate on other freelance sites and have outside clients for backup, but this has been working out pretty well for me so far 🙂

There’s a lot of information already on the forum which I definitely suggest reviewing. My best tip I can give is to put as much information in your gig as possible. It makes you look professional, knowledgeable and it also helps answer a lot of people’s questions before they message you! Also want to make sure your gig cover photos are appealing, informational but not overwhelming.

I think it’s a great idea to search established seller’s who are doing the service you’re thinking about going into. It’ll give you an idea of what works and what doesn’t. However, I never condone copying! I believe in putting your own voice and spin on everything. The more YOU that shines through in your gigs, the more clients will come 🙂

Thank you, it’s good to be here!

I’m slowly working my way through as many forum posts and established sellers as I can, haha. I’ll definitely keep updating and improving my descriptions on gigs - I know mine are fairly basic at the moment but in my defense, I only got here yesterday, lmao.

Out of curiosity, how long did it take before you got your first buyer here? I’m not expecting it to be a get-rich-quick scheme, but some sort of start would be nice, not going to lie, haha.

I want to say a couple days? I honestly made a Fiverr account just to try and get some extra money on the side - I never anticipated it becoming a large source of my income lol. I made a mug design gig that helped me reach level 2 seller in about two months. Back at the end of may, my tshirt gig exploded with popularity (still unsure how lol). I’ve still be exploring more options to add to my gig list 🙂

That’s awesome! I did have a look at your stuff, it’s really good! I’d actually buy some if I wasn’t so broke and jobless right now, lmao.

I’m working full-time on Fiverr! 🙂 I started out using both Fiverr and Upwork, but I shut down my Upwork account last month. I get more than enough customer traffic through Fiverr. I started with really low rates, delivered quality work, built up a customer base, and then raised my prices. It’s been really fun! I love ghostwriting on Fiverr.

That’s awesome! I’m going to add some writing services to my account soon, only just finished perfecting the info for my divination gig earlier today so I’m doing my best to promote that. Hopefully I’ll get some buyers soon!
