Cheated by a Seler at my first Buy

Hey folks, 1st time here and unfortunately as the title says. Yes, before committing with this seller I did read the comments and I just can’t believe he delivered an image I could Google Img Search. My big mistake was I did the search after I have Accept the final product ( it was just a simple logo ).

I’m not sure if i’m allowed to post the Seller’s nickname here and the Logo he delivered me, so in case it’s ok to do so, you guys please let me know.

Of course as soon as I discovered it I contacted Fiverr CS and they cancelled the gig, so now I have a credit in my account, but they said I won’t be able to know what will happen to the Seller because of fiverr’s Privacy Policy.

Any tips for my next Buy. please let me know. All the best to you all 🙂

As I reported in this post, I had a bad experience with a seller that uses someone else’s work. The fiverr CS was informed and they are doing their thing now, so far so good. Since I’m looking for Logo creators ( and I mean “creators” ) I decided to check the imgs in their portfolios and believe it or not I’ve found many of them using someone else’s work, sometimes without any mods at all . I don’t think it makes fiverr a bad platform, but it does show us how mediocre most human beings are. That being said, let’s be more pro active, both sellers and buyers, and report any kind of odd behaviour to the fiverr CS … you’ll be surprised how much a simple google img search will reveal to you… that’s my 2 cents for today … all the best to you all and have a nice one!

Sorry to read about the bad experience. I have hired other Fiverr sellers for their services, like video production, etc., and I hired them the same way I would buy online. I looked for someone who had been on here for over two years, and who had a proven track record of success and great reviews.
