Hey guys!

I am new to fiverr and hoped to find some help here, I created my account 2 days ago and no orders yet. I was wondering if that’s normal or is something wrong with my account maybe?

Thanks

Hi mennaamr1369-

Welcome to Fiverr.
I think you’d do well to spend a few hours reading through this forum. You’ll learn a lot! There’s also the Fiverr blog and academy. There’s a ton of resources to help you out!

After doing that, be sure to complete your profile including uploading a profile pic, and uploading more photos/videos to your gigs. There are a lot of writing gigs on this site. You’ll have to work a bit harder to get orders.

Good luck!

Hi, and welcome!

It took me a few days to get orders myself in the beginning, but I reckon nowadays it will be harder as the competition is fierce in your categories.

So if I were you, I’d ask people on the forum what can be improved about the gigs ( see the Improve My Gig section of the forum ), I’d also think about promoting the gigs ( search the forum for things like promoting gigs, marketing gigs, and read the #UPYOUR series of posts from our Moderator ).

You should not expect to create a gig and see orders starting to come without you putting any efforts towards making them known via word of mouth, social media and such, and without analyzing your competition and providing what they don’t provide, improving your offers, etc.

And since you’re new to Fiverr, I strongly suggest reading the guides & rules first to avoid any problems:

  1. Fiverr Academy - the best Fiverr tutorials
  2. Terms of Service - great guide to learn the intricacies of Fiverr
  3. The Support Page - whatever was omitted on the previous pages, you’ll find here 😉

Welcome to Fiverr. Your profile needs a photo or a logo. Also words in your description about “hope”, “aspiring” and “hobby” will not inspire buyers to buy from you. You need to come across as more positive and professional. Check out other profiles for ideas as to how this section should be completed but do not copy them. Good luck! 🙂
