Good afternoon everyone.

So today, I would like to share the methods in which I use to come up with awesome services to get better results from fiverr as a seller.

Right now, I have about 4 services I would like to render waiting to be launched. I’m the kind of guy that is usually not in a hurry to set gigs up because I know that If you offer quality services, you would always be patronized by all and sundry. And this is the reason why I spend most of my time doing research, taking courses to learn a skill before I finally launch the service.

So, let me assume I want to add another service to my line of services I already offer on fiverr. The first thing I do most of the time is to go through fiverr using the search bar to see what’s trending. Sometimes I just go ahead to check out random gigs and see how they are all performing.

The very first indication that a gig is performing well is usually the long orders in queue (my opinion guys). So when I see that, I am immediately drawn to check out the sellers’ profile to see when he was born on fiverr (usually this is not always accurate as some people don’t create gigs on the very first day or month they sign up on fiverr, from my experience).

So, I assume that the date I see on their profile was when they started offering services on fiverr. Then I move forward; I look at the number of reviews they’ve pulled in since they started rendering their services and divide that by the number of months it’s been since they joined fiverr. For example, say SELLER B joined fiverr in January 2017 and has 210 reviews so far. From January to July is 7 months. So I say, 210 divide by 7 would equal 30. So such seller has been getting 30 orders monthly till today. With that rate of getting orders, s/he would have attained a level one … in a month and 7 months down the line, s/he should have gotten to level 2. Then I go ahead to check the seller’s badge using this process and bam, I see the badge. So I move on.

Now when I get that number - the average orders in a month, I go ahead to look at the number of orders in queue and then go to another seller to see how that seller is doing compared to the previous seller. I do this for 2 more sellers and then I can begin to study all of them at the same time.

Now once I start studying all 4 of them, I go all the way from comparing their gig seo title, gig title, how they charge, delivery day, tags, gig image/video etc. So I see myself most times doing 4,5,6 days of study/research before my new gig goes live. If I have to learn a skill, or take a course online, I go ahead to do so in between these study/research period.

I don’t end there; I go out of fiverr, into forums, visit sites that provide courses online to check out the exact same service of these sellers to see what more I need to know to come up with the same service they offer but adding some unique extras that would sure make mine standout.

Yeah, it’s a whole lot of work and it’s boring sometimes so, I go take a nap or watch some movies or do something odd that takes my mind away from it. Then when I come back, I come refreshed and full of energy to ride on.

It may interest you to know that I learnt how to do some of these things I mentioned above

  1. from fiverr academy and using this forum
  2. from clients who have patronized my services here on fiverr
  3. from my personal experience - watching a lot of tutorials, reading a lot of tech stuffs, watching movies etc.

I guess I would have to stop here today. I hope you guys learnt something today?
