Ideas for Fiverr Community Event - Bangalore

I am not sure how many Fiverr sellers are from Bangalore. Do tell if you are from B’lore, and let me know if you are interested in attending such an event.

What do you want to be discussed at the event?

Also, where do you want to meet-up? I suggest any Cafe Coffee Day in South Bangalore - Koramangala, BTM, Jayanagar, Banashankari or JP Nagar.

Fiverr does not allow for any outside communication. So I am not sure if we can exchange contact information during the event. Wonder what the rules are on this at the other successful Fiverr events.

Finally, who is going to be the point person? Who is going to take charge? Not me, sorry.

Why would you need to? A first name only basis without contact information should be enough. Of course there probably is not going to be a way to police this if two people do exchange information.

Someone has to volunteer to be the one in charge as a first step I imagine.

Yeah, when two Indians meet, the very first thing they do is exchange mobile numbers - they should be told strictly not to do that. LOL.

When you find someone who is going to take charge and you have your date/location selected, have them go to this page:

https://www.fiverr.com/community_events

As for exchanging info: When you meet in the real world you can exchange info.

I don’t know how it works there, but I suspect there is at least one or two Fiverr people who manage community events in India or a larger region which includes India.

(In the USA, there are 3 or so… Dividing the country by region… Do NOT quote me on those numbers, there could be a dozen I don’t know about, and/or additional people who assist them.)

They want you to gather emails so they can notify people of upcoming events.

We have an official “Sign in sheet” which was originally provided by our Fiverr internal contact. He’s in charge of the Western US (could be more…).

I suspect the link above will get the ball rolling.
