SPAM With A Twist

Afternoon all! 🙂

Today I received a spam message with s twist - it was in the form of a custom offer from someone I’ve never bought from, and I didn’t request it.

As it was a custom offer, there was no report/block button.

How is it possible to receive an unwanted custom offer please?

I’ve handed it over to CS of course. 😉

Seems like they click the ´´conctact me´´ button and then send the offer.

I’ve received a few of those… Sent by sellers who are trying not to get reported for spam, I guess.

Not clever enough. You respond to their offer by messaging them and asking them whatever (or simply refusing them), they answer you, you click on the Report button.

More so, when the custom offer feature was introduced, there were situations where sellers would receive custom spam offers and when they clicked on the offer button in their email, it would automatically purchase the offer 😱 it was a bug, now it’s gone :phew:

Wow thats horrible! I have received those before, but never so many together. Crazy!

They have their accounts removed after you report them.
