Unfair For Sellers

Fiver Should Make Option For seller , buyer will buy without asking anything direct

so we face like this kind of problem

  1. we are available time buyer is not available

  2. That work we can’t do coz buyer didnt spoke to seller even mention in the gig before buy msg to seller

  3. when buyer insisting to order complete when seller will complete order buyer can give negative feed back

  4. even if we want to cancel as a seller im talking we have problem cancellation rate go down seo will down , ETC

so im suggestion whoever buy , seller should have option they will accept that work or not ,

but even seller agreed to do work and want to cancel now option is better ,

some buyers they are buying without searching or asking so seller what he will do , its all him his head,
please move to right topic if im wrong

I try to have as much information as possible in my gig as to what I do, and what I don’t. I make use of the FAQ section, and I have a buyer’s requirement where I let them know exactly what I need from them to do the job. It’s required, so they can’t miss it. I write to make sure to message me for any questions.

I’ve only had to cancel from them not reading it properly twice. Unfortunately, that’s pretty much how it goes, you do what you can to curb it before it happens.

Valid points, but there is really nothing which can be done.

Hopefully, Fiverr will come up with possible solutions.

Here is what I would suggest regarding the issues you mentioned:

  • prolong your delivery time if you are not available most of the time. Unfortunately, most clients prefer that you are available 24/7 and when you are not they tend to be edgy a bit. Nothing you can do about it except to adjust your working time. You can write that you work from Monday-Friday, 8AM-7PM, CET, weekends you are off,…or something similar. This should give your buyers a good idea of your available time. Do keep in mind that if your competition sets their availability to 0-24 hours you are likely to lose clients, and especially if they match your quality service.

  • refund client back and problem is solved. The downside is that it will affect your profile, but the positive is that you will not be working on a project which isn’t covered by your gig package, nor will you receive a negative feedback.

  • Fiverr Support favors buyers over sellers so there is nothing you can do when you receive a negative feedback. Accept it and move on. It is not fair, but if you try to reason with them you will only lose your time and your nerves. There is so much which can be done to improve buyer-seller-FiverrSupport relationship in order to have win-win.win situation, but Fiverr is not interested in hearing it so it is better to skip it completely.

  • already covered it in my previous replies. Let me keep in short this time. Who do we like and favor? Buyers, buyers, buyers 😃 Who don’t we think about too much, except when they are bringing honey to our hive? Sellers, sellers, sellers 😃 As a matter of fact, that is a good comparision. Fiverr = hive, Bees = sellers, Humans = buyers (and sometimes Fiverr Support), Honey = M(h)oney :stuck_out_tongue: Just like bees, sellers are being exploited till the very limits.
