Buyer is a middleman!

I’m damn sure this repeat buyer is a middleman and I’m tired of getting new modification requests again and again. Also it’s not like my work is not good. He keeps asking for adding more images after video is made. I can say he’s middleman coz the messages he send me for communication and the messages where he tell me requirements seems a little different. I don’t want to cancel order coz this buyer tipped me before so I somehow feel like completing the order.

How will you tackle such situation?

Do you state any number of revisions? If so, you can try remind him how many revisions left.

Yeah I should remind him now. I generally don’t look at how much revisions are left but this is not even my fault and it’s getting out of my hands.

Yup I know how you feel. I once edited over 20 times even I clearly stated the number of revisions he entitled. Just make sure you clearly stated in your description on how many revisions provided.

After the first revision request, make sure you get all the info needed to make the revision perfect for the customer. Also remind them of how many they are entitled to before they have to pay extra.

Stress that you do revisions if you made mistakes, and that you already provided some revisions and modifications for free as a bonus, for the images he wanted you to add after the fact which he should have included in his original order, and that you can’t do even more work for free and that you will be happy to include more pictures for him if he buys an additional gig to cover the additional time it will take you.
Something along those lines.

Try to make it sound as positive as you can, and to make him sound as nice as you can, bonus points if you can make him think it´s his own idea to pay you for additional work.😉

It really hurts when you come to know that what you did for $5 is now sold at $25 , Happens with me most of the time some buyers do tell me that they got some client or sometimes they call him as BOSS, I think you should limit the revisions and not provide unlimited revisions.

There is nothing like UNLIMITED REVISIONS a buyer and a seller both have to stop at certain point of trying again n again. That’s stupid , So i clearly mentioned about Term Unlimited Revisions in my FAQs, Some buyers take it seriously and demands entirely new design every single time.

That’s a punch in the face but i guess if you have not so many reviews this can act as a favor, You can get a lot of positive reviews
