anitech
Hey,I think we all have the right to know the answer to that question. I mean Google tells us how it ranks website so why can’t Fiverr ? Or if they have then please share. Thanks
finalstep
Google does not tell you how it ranks websites! Everything people know about SEO are nothing more than educated guesses and knowledge gained from trial and error testing. Google’s algorithm is as highly protected as coca cola’s recipe. They and fiverr keep this secret to prevent people from artificially enhancing their ranking, which is meant to be based on website or gig quality only. anitech
I mean Google does tell us the basics like Backlinks, Onpage SEO etc. Stuff you can find on their Webmasters Tools. But Fiverr tells you nothing. Sometimes I see the most random off topic Gigs in the search results.

finalstep
Well they just launched V2 so the search engine is really still in the works, from what i’ve seen a lot of emphasis has been put on giving less active users more priority, I assume in order to increase engagement. so that probably explains the random gigs and unranked gigs showing up high
