I was not accusing sellers as I have already explained only Fiverr which now is a corporate giant. Perhaps it was a bad choice of words on my part. I have edited the post to show this.

Yes I have un-paused them thanks. I’ll take advice if I agree with it of course. I still dont know how too get seen on Fiverr on the www this is the million dollar question that many now face. I’ll just have to hope and wait like fishing in a river and hope to get a bite.

Waiting can be but often is not a good plan, cast your fishing line into the shallows and depths of the mythical Buyers Requests Ocean.

If you want to be seen, and increase your chances of making sales, you need to be promoting your gig to the people that need your services. Posting random links on social media is not promoting your gig to the people that need your services. To build a market, figure out who your target customers are. Then, do some research, and figure out where those target customers are located. Once you know these two things, you’ll have found the market that you need to tap into.

Your target customers are the only people that will make your gigs successful. Find creative (and productive) ways to tell them about what you do. And no, this is not easy, but it is a necessary component to business success.

You have writing gigs but you have issues with spelling and grammar.

For example: college is misspelled. When you’re trying to sell proofreading or writing, mistakes like this will turn buyers to the next person.

I will promote your gigs on my high traffic blog.

You will have much better chances of success on Fiverr if your gigs are marketed properly. Some of the best ways I have found with all of my Fiverr accounts is having someone else promote your gigs for you at a low cost. There are tons of people who will do this for you on Fiverr including myself.

Here is the link to my gig I will promote your gigs on my high traffic blog

How about promoting yours First?

On the flipside of the coin, once you become efficient at promoting your business there is really no reason to use a middle man platform.

Agreed. Although, I think it’s safe to say that most people who choose to use Fiverr for hosting their freelance services aren’t the kind of people who would do so with the intent of transitioning their market off-site to their own website-hosted services. Most sellers here on Fiverr (certainly not all) are here for the ease of use, and the site benefits that are provided them to host here.

How much will this cost me? % I hope so far I have only paid Fiver at least 200 euro but not been paid anything back.

I’d also change the profile info that says “I am Britsih Native speaker, …”. But it also may be that you just need to wait a bit longer since the gigs have only been created this month it seems (though you can try amending them like has been suggested by other members).

I froze my gigs in error and did not know it or how to put them back as live until I was told how to on here.

I have been on Fiverr for some time but not made and Sales!!! Not 1. My gigs are not asking too much and are genuine. I think the biggest problem is Fiverr is now FULL and over competitive a victim of its success. Pity maybe I got in too late or my gigs are just not interesting enough to even ask about?

Noted thanks. I have two young sons at home so do the math as they say in the USA. I have corrected the typo everything else is fine.

WHY…IT’S FIVERR GREEEEEEEN . I like it, you don’t??? 😦

This is your mistake.

Sales isn’t about YOU. It’s about the consumer.

Why don’t you take everyone’s advice and change your pics for a week. If that doesn’t help, then keep the green. What do you have to lose?

Man. Your profile… is horrible. Sorry to say it, but it is. The language is stilted and strange, for someone who claims to be a native speaker, the pictures are horrible, there’s no charm, no appeal. Videos on the gigs help a lot, you have none. Trying to offer services that don’t already have hundreds of competing, more compelling gigs also helps.

Hey I just checked your gig and you provide proofreading at 10$ for only 100 words! I’ve seen sellers providing proofreading for 5000 words at 10$! You should consider adding a zero behind your word count.

Point taken. I have darkened my profile picture BG colour. I am 100% a native speaker which is a selling point. I have shortened and amended my profile text. I do not have any better photo of myself as for the gigs pics what’s wrong with them? I want to stand out not look like others. I don’t have any other gigs to offer.

Why would I change them all? I have already. I have lowered my basics GIGS to just 5 USD to see if it helps.

According to your profile, “I’m a Britsih native speaker”. This makes it look like:

  1. You’re not a native speaker (British isn’t a language, anyways.)

    Or

  2. You’re careless with your spelling. This is a problem if you want to be a proofreader.

Details matter.

I have two small sons running around me as they are at home now. Corrected and thanks. The British native speaker refers to my language. You have American English and British English. For English- people often want British English. OK?
