Hi there,
A Greeting to all Forum Users:pray:
I am a new fiverr User
Since last 12 days i generate 20 sales in my gig
I do a lots of blogging and generate traffic from there
I get atleast 700 views daily
but conversion rate is below 1%
will it affect my gig ranking?
Or will it decrease my gig rank due to low conversion rate?

Unfortunately other users can only speculate as to what a low conversion rate may do.
If you are generating your own traffic, I would hope that Fiverr sees this as “social gig views” which I believe SHOULD be assessed differently. You can see social gig views in the same drop down box as impressions, gig views, clicks etc. but I don’t know if they are values as much as they should be. I suspect they are valued because Fiverr constantly pushes us to share and promote our gigs.

I believe it will affect your rankings because even though Fiverr pushes us to share and promote our gigs on social networks, ultimately it all boils down to how much money you are making from traffic.

It is definitely a good thing to receive traffic from your blog, but try to optimize your gig in a way so that you can increase your conversion rate. Also, if you are receiving more than 700 views on a daily basis, you should not worry about Fiverr search rankings. Just optimize your gig to a point where you get at least 6-7% conversion rate and you will be golden.

Though it’s gonna be an imprudent question but types as to know and thirst my curiosity. As I am a newbie here, I must still have lots of things to know. My questions are as down below:

  1. What is a conversion rate? Why we need this percentage higher?
  2. From which part of my account I can see my conversion rate?

Thank you very much for your patience.

@eoinfinnegan
yes you are right
It is difficult to predict how fiverr’s search engine reacts

@nabans95
Driving traffic from blog and convert them as buyers are not an easy jobs
i have already less than 0.5% conversion rate and i think i am going to receive such massive traffic as long as i have my blog posts are existed
But I doubt most of sellers come to fiverr through my gig and end of buying other’s gig

Ya that might be an issue. There must be an affiliate link that you can promote your gigs through. That way even though people don’t end up buying your services, at least you will get a commission for the services that they buy from other sellers.

Something like Amazon.
