Does The High Ratings of a Category Rotate After Some Time

I was rated number 2 in a particular category in the " High Rating " Section. Today when I logged in, all of the people who gigs were in the high rating section including mine got replaced by others and we all have been moved somewhere really really down. Some don’t even show up. How come this happened ? Its not just me, almost all the gigs that were above or below me have been replaced by new gigs. I still have more positive feed backs than all the new gigs that have populated the " High Rating " Section but still I don’t show up. Is there any fiverr’s rotation policy that I don’t know of ?

Right, the auto section should be the one that rolling, while high ratings supposed to be the ones made that achievements.

Mine are also disappeared. Before that happened, I remembered getting error notification (ngix) then voila…! All messed up…

I believe there’s some bugs or perhaps fiverr is upgrading/maintaning their system. Hope it will fixed soon.

@bachas

Well, I did a lot contacted CS in the past, but sometimes it feel like useless as they never give anything supportive for the bugs/complains.

With all respects, they do great jobs for helping cancel orders, but not for something like this.

Anyway, I’m going to report this.

Let’s see if it’s gonna be something useful.

This is the response i got just now

Hi there,

Sorry but we cannot guarantee where your Gigs show up in searches nor in their categories.

Regards,

Max

So what does it meant??!! So our hard works meant nothing to them? They can just easily replace all the top ratings gig? :(( :((

''We do appreciate your concerns and we have carefully reviewed that situation. It has been the same for as long as I can remember. Gigs on a category are rotated from time to time to provide many different sellers with exposure and there is no issue on that category at this time. ''

So that’s meant is permanent?

By the way, do you all managed to find your top rating gigs? I couldn’t find my top rating gigs at all within the category. Likes it’s disappeared completely :((

Update. As I got an answer from CS.

“Its not a bug (I found your thread on the forums)

The new search engine provides more exposure for more highly rated gigs - which constantly updates over time based on a gigs rating and sales record to help all highly rated sellers in this category. It does not list gigs in a descending order - that method would not encourage sellers to offer more unique gigs in other categories (and it would be unfair to you based on your gigs sales record).

Please note that there are questions that we will not answer due to the nature of the question - it trickles in to System/Tech related information that we’re highly protective of to prevent Fraud, Search Gaming, and other activities which may otherwise lead to violating our terms of service if exposed. We do apreciate your concerns, however most of the changes were intentionally designed to help all sellers gain exposure (much like how you started out) versus having a select few gigs dominate specific categories. All of your gigs are appearing in our search result, but as previously mentioned - the rating filter is dynamic and not static.”

“Its not fair to new sellers to be limited in this search result. Fiverr wants all sellers to succeed and gain financial independence, but the idea of listing gigs in a descending order is unfair and will only cause more issues for sellers who are starting out in each category”

I am so confused… If you searched my gig, i was always the first one… Now it’s nowhere to be found. Maybe they just implemented it?? Because I’ve been on here for nearly 2 months and I’ve pretty much dominated that spot since I first looked about a month ago…

sigh

I see many people are having the same problem, here is what I noticed…I noticed the new feature to search users may be interfering with results, users who are showing up in “user search results” are not being shown in gig search results, and those who are not shown in user search results are showing up in gig search results, seems to affect top rated gigs only, I only checked this theory twice…

Can someone else help me confirm this…

Update,

Well there is a more button so user search results probably don’t have anything to do with current bug
