exnihilo0
I am new to Fiverr and offer an incredibly saturated gig. I am still a little unfamiliar with the culture of the website. Would it be ethically irresponsible to offer some free services for reviews to get started?
artemist
I’ve seen other seller make offers like that, but be sure you find a way to do it “cleanly” as far as the free stuff. Refunding might get tricky if it involves cancelling orders, or any contact outside of the Fiverr message system. But I like your initial posted gig so I’ll buy one article just 'cuz you were together enough to ask this question first. Check your sellers section.
artemist
Maybe offering two-for-one as a temporary introductory offer would be easier to handle, as long as you can actually deliver that many articles if you get multiple buyers at once. Then change your description back to offering a single article after the promo ends? However, even if you offer double articles, you still only get 1 review per sale. But trust bachas85 on this - she always gives solid advice. artemist
Quick note: I did order a short article/essay and the seller delivered in less than six hours on my choice of topic, which was the weird trend that “anyone can declare themselves to be an artist these days without actually making anything.”
