beinenergy
I wanted to ask a question. When a buyer draws a logo, and they give their design to a logo designer, does the buyer own the intellectual property automatically since it was their design? happyspace
I wanted to ask a question. When a buyer draws a logo, and they give their design to a logo designer, does the buyer own the intellectual property automatically since it was their design?HiI suppose it should be so. Unless the design was way too minimal. If it is something very original, then it should be yours. It would be a good idea to somehow secure your copyright by asking the logo designer to clearly state in written that you will keep the copyright of the final product. Otherwise I suppose the seller would ask for an extra “professional use” or so.Anyway it is always best to discuss this beforehand.I hope that helped a bit
