So, I finally just did it like Nika Nike! 😛
A few of my clients address me by Nike. 😄

I followed quite a few of your tips. I decided to give (Advertising) a mini test run and looks like it’s working. Just wanted to let you know! Thank You! 🙂 If you’re a seller try these tips you may or may not see immediate results but it’s worth a try.

Doing marketing continuesly

What kind of marketing are you doing?

social media marketing.Twitter, instagram and linkedin

social media marketing.Twitter, instagram and linkedin

I see. Are the people you are connected to on those social media sites also your target customers – are those the people that need the services you offer on Fiverr? Or are you just connected to your friends, and you hope those friends will buy from you?

Your friends are not your target customers. This might be why you are not gaining any sales. You need to be promoting your services to the people who need them. Those people are not on your social media accounts.

The best advertising is client based advertising in my opinion. This week alone I got over 15 orders from client referrals alone.

Kindly explain to me how I can do client based advertising

There’s really no free work (not up till now though). the oldest client I’ve tried this with was 6 months ago and he still makes an order with me as well as referring me to his friends and on facebook groups. The only instance anyone has actually used the support was when they were having some issues from amazon but it was mostly advice.

In either case, the best method to get client referrals is be nice, be very nice,

P.S

Anyone that wants to do comic strips or art needs to get themselves a Tumblr. That site is like a goldmine after you hit 1K followers. A friend of mine bags in around $4000 a month taking patreon request through his Tumblr, it’s insane how much people are willing to pay for ero-fanfics.

$4,000 ?

Wow, it’s amazing! :star_struck:

which social area we should advertise our gigs…will you tell me some of media name

This is something you need to figure out for yourself or hire someone to research it for you. What might be good for me might be worthless for you. You need to find what platforms the type of people who might need your services use.

I’m sure @eoinfinnegan has lots of good ideas about it as he wrote the initial post in this thread. 😉

I’m also sure that if you part with some money like he suggested, you could pay somebody for more specific idea.

Well you see, the first problem is that any time someone says a platform has helped them, that platform gets filled with spam by desperate sellers.

For example, it seems that when someone links to a Fiverr gig in an answer on Quora, that answer now gets flagged and deleted automatically. I found this out while linking to the Rob Janoff gig in an answer I gave recently. I learned that there was a similar problem with Reddit recently too.

The second thing is, the platforms I get sales through will not work for you - you sell different services and have a whole different way of doing business than I do.

What it sounds like you are looking for is somewhere to promote yourself for free without making any effort or paying any money.

That place does not exist.
