Sweet! Got Some Clients! And Paaaaayment When?

So I got some peeps from my gig (woo!) and I delivered my piece within the deadline time limit, and now what? I messaged the clients with “Hey, let me know if you need anything else!” as a little nudge, but no response. I guess I just wait? What’s the best way to go about waiting to get paid for your services?

On other sites I usually always got paid first, or at least went half and half. First time I’ve done the work first and just crossing my fingers the client pays.

Please don’t message your buyers after you’ve delivered your gig - some may see it as spam, and that’s not a good thing.

If your buyer completed the gig by leaving feedback etc., your payment will clear 14 days after that. If they don’t, then the gig will auto-complete 3 days after your delivery, and again, your payment will clear 14 days after that.

ooooooooooooooooooooo. It goes through on it’s own? So you’re saying the way the website is set up, when I get an offer, and it shows me the dollar amount, and I hit accept, it’s like the money is in my hand, but I can’t put in my wallet just yet?

That’s pretty much it - after it’s cleared, you can transfer it to PayPal etc. 😀
