idostuff74
… and the buyer’s been offline for two days. When is a good time to click the Resolve button?Full story: buyer messaged me to get something done. We chatted for a while, different timezones got in the way, we stopped chatting. Whiiich I didn’t mind as I had the impression there are better ways to achieve what he’s looking for than the tools I’m good with. Next day, I received an order for a $5 gig with the instructions to proceed as discussed. My offered extra (to do custom work from scratch) is ignored or unnoticed. I’m 7 hours late and the buyer is on the other side of Earth. Probably just went sleeping.

eoinfinnegan
Yeah, what she said. Also make sure to include some extra time in the extra you sent so that when they accept it you have the time to do it.From what I can tell, orders running late only count if they are completed late so if you add time either through the resolve button or custom extra it should not affect your delivered on time rate. idostuff74
Thanks, you two. @saddu_writer instructions clear 5/5 🙂I had added time on the extra and now requested for more. I guess I just don’t quite understand what the Resolve button actually does. He has to deal with it now or can he still just let the order expire into an automatic failed to deliver? I’ve only had one dispute, what happens if the buyer declines?Just for the recordI don’t suspect malice at play. I had made a small sketch of how I’d approach this which he liked a lot

Click " I didn’t receive enough information from the buyer " and send it to him while increasing the delivery time as well.
