Discount for first time buyers?

I want to create a gig that only first time buyers can purchase. I don’t want to create a customer order, that would defeat the purpose.

I want to provide discounts to my first time buyers. I don’t care what discounts Fiverr provides.

You cannot give discounts on your Gigs as the minimum price is $5.

However, you can advise your potential clients to contact you first and send them a Custom Offer.

On the other hand, it would be more profitable if you offer your normal price ($5) and deliver some other service for free, just for your first-time buyers.

Best!

I certainly can provide discounts to a gig whose price is $10. I did not state the price of the gig was $5.

I stated before that I do not want create a custom offer for first time buyers. It defeats the purpose.

I could possibly cancel all purchases of a gig by all non-first time buyers.

You ask if it is possible. The answer is Yes, but then why would you want to offer a discount to a 1st time buyer, when it’s actually better marketing to offer a “free” add-on as a “thank you” gift.
When you discount your work, for right or for wrong, it changes the perceived value of your work.
I do videos and often as a thank you for repeat buyers or buyers who tip, I provide a “bonus” logo animation or thumbnail for social media marketing or an animation that shows their #1 social media profile.
The time spent on these “gifts” are negligible as they are often built into the custom offer of top level gig offering.

You can convey the perception of the “discount” by doing a 2 for 1 or 3 for the price of 2 to all first time buyers. Change the word “discount” to the term “value added”. If your view is changed and thats what you project, then they’ll see you as you want to be seen

Marketing perception is important as perception IS reality.

Just my opinion…again
