Fiverr Is Full Of Fake Buyers !!!

There are a lot of fake buyers … what they do is first they place the order then seller start working on that after completion of order those fake buyers go to fiverr support team and tell them seller didn’t complete work correctly and stupid support team cancel the order and return the money to buyer…

Majority of those fake buyers are either from ****** and ***** regions…

Fiverr Support Team Sucks ! Support team will never listen to seller they only believe what buyer tell them…

seller didn’t complete work correctly

So, did you do something to refute the buyer’s claims?

From my experience, that’s not the case.

If you feel the buyer cancelled unfairly, please contact CS and put your case to them.

They’ll look at your case fairly and decide what to do. They might look at it even more favourably if you edit your first post - that was more than a little harsh on CS. 🙂

I wouldn’t silence someone too quickly on assumption. The guy might have a legitimate claim. If this does happen to be the case, it’s bad for the entire site if a scammer gets away with it. The site can easily be inundated by scammers who just keep changing their online identity if Fiverr doesn’t take every claim seriously.

You should contact CS with screenshot proofs, requirements of the buyers, and what you provided him/her. CS will take a right decision as they did for me.

I did contacted the support team with all proofs and screenshot and firstly they don’t reply and after 3 4 days they replied with… " Order is now cancelled and this is irreversible "

Which is exactly why I said he should go to CS - I’m not trying to silence anybody, but his post was exaggerating - there may be some fake buyers, but Fiverr is certainly not full of them, the support team is not stupid, I’ve found them to be very fair, they don’t ‘suck’, and they do listen to the sellers as well as the buyers.

But I do hope the OP gets it sorted in a fair way.

Have a great day! 🙂

It’s really strange that CS would cancel the order like that. The Terms of Service state: “Buyers must use Fiverr Resolution Center to address their concerns and desired resolution related to the service provided by their seller prior to contacting Customer Support. Customer Support will not take any action against Orders where the buyers failed to inform their seller of issues related to the seller’s service and will allow sellers to provide a resolution first. This does not include non-permitted usage of Fiverr.”

Was this a case of “non-permitted usage of Fiverr”? Did you break the rules at some point, possibly without realizing it at the time?

He did take his claim to CS, and apparently this has happened more than once. Fiverr might not be “full” of fake buyers, yet, but it will be if a scammer gets away with it more than once and spreads the word. CS needs to track buyer’s complaints by the CC#

Good to know. I recall reading that, but I’m glad you reminded me. What recourse is there if the opportunity to remedy the cause for complaint isn’t provided before “action” is taken, (assuming, of course that no non-permitted usage is involved) and where is “action” clearly defined?

I delivered the order with all buyer requirements and everything is fine … order is marked as completed…

then after 5 6 days i received notification “Your order is cancelled by fiverr support team” … and i was shocked then i think it might be some bug because fiverr website is having some issues these days…

I didn’t received any message from buyer for changes or anything like that… i contacted the buyer asking if he cancelled the order ? … and there is no reply from that buyer till today…

Then i contacted the support team asking whats going on … they told me buyer contacted them that his work is not completed… i provided CS all the proofs screenshots and everything … but CS didn’t listened me and replied with " order is cancelled now and this is irreversible "

That’s really strange. It doesn’t usually work like that. I remember that there was a buyer who complained that CS wouldn’t cancel the order because the seller delivered as advertised, and that he was free to leave an honest review, but that he wasn’t entitled to a refund.

where is “action” clearly defined?

In the Terms of Service (though not always clearly). For example: “Any non-permitted usage of Fiverr encountered during an Order, after being reviewed by our Customer Support team, may result in the order being cancelled. This includes, but not limited to; harassment, unlawful behavior, or other violations to Fiverr’s Terms of Service.”

More examples: “The seller is late and unresponsive for more than 24 hours while the order is marked as Late.”

“Users are abusive towards the other party through threats of low ratings or leveraging order materials (such as logins, personal information) against each other.”

“Users supplied or included copyright/trademark infringing materials as part of the Buyer requirements or the seller’s delivery.”

“The seller uses the Delivery system to extend the delivery due date to complete the requested service without providing the final delivered service to buyers.”

“The seller delivers no files and/or proof of work related to the agreed upon order requirements.”

“The seller requests additional payments, on or off the Fiverr platform, by withholding the final delivery of services directly related to the agreed requirements.”

“The seller is withholding the final delivery of services for improved ratings.”

“Buyers who abuse the Request Revisions button to gain more services from sellers beyond the agreed requirements.”

“Buyers who threaten to leave a damaging review to gain more services from the seller not related to the agreed requirements.”

“Users who have been reported to use copyright/trademark infringing materials after verification and with proof.”

“Buyers who did not purchase commercial use rights and are reported to have used the materials commercially.”

What recourse is there if the opportunity to remedy the cause for complaint isn’t provided before “action” is taken

You can ask CS for help, I guess, and avoid doing the wrong thing again (as in, avoid breaking the rules again). Sometimes there will be a warning before the “action” is taken, but sometimes, depending on the offence, there will be none.
