wp_kid
You can create a portfolio on approved site. See the list. And be sure there is not any direct contact information there 🙂https://support.fiverr.com/hc/en-us/articles/205167778-What-URLs-can-I-use-in-my-profile-or-Gig-description-

They aren’t going to get into definitions and semantics with you if you try to get around it by removed part of the URL to make it a non-URL. I know a seller who was demoted from TRS to Level 2 for refusing to remove a link and trying to argue about it. The forum is for practical advice too, which is a great thing to get from other real sellers and buyers. Loopholes/tricks - not so much.

This is the second time I get fruitlessly tangled up in discussing technical things here. Seems to me that I shouldn’t do that again, to save time and nerves…

This is the second time I get fruitlessly tangled up in discussing technical things here. Seems to me that I shouldn’t do that again, to save time and nerves…Maybe it’s the word loophole that is the problem. The reason you get responses to it is that if someone takes you seriously and points to you as the reason for their gig denial, it could be messy. A loophole refers to any ambiguity in a set of rules or laws, and in that sense you are right. The thing is, to use a loophole usually means to find an ambiguity you can actually exploit and win a case or appeal by doing so. Fiverr is a private company, not a government, and they aren’t going to accept an exploitation as a reason not to ban you. Maybe you could think again about how to offer practical advice on the forum instead of technicalities that might get someone in trouble. 🙂

misscrystal
I just tried to go to the first site mentioned, ammyy.com, and got a warning from google saying “deceptive site ahead” with an explanation that I might be hacked or get phishing scams. Maybe that one should be removed from the list.
fonthaunt
Is blogger.com is the same as blogspot?I think blogspot is owned by blogger nowadays and if you put in a blogspot link it redirects to blogger. I just use the blogspot version in my profile since blogger isn’t on the list. I think they used to be separate but I’m not sure. LOL @ ammyy. I don’t even know what that one is supposed to be. This is the second time I get fruitlessly tangled up in discussing technical things here. Seems to me that I shouldn’t do that again, to save time and nerves…Don’t worry - you’re free to get tangled up in as many conversations as you like! 🙂@fonthaunt is quite right about practical advice on the forum, but I would urge a little caution as well - if you’re going to try anything that you’re not quite sure of, please run it past CS.I’ll give you an example - there’s a method shown on the forum, which is said to be ‘a good thing’ - sending buyers to a non-Fiverr domain with no off-Fiverr links etc after delivery. I set up a similar thing, but being ultra-cautious I asked CS if it was alright - the answer came back that no, it wasn’t, it was against ToS and here’s the link to the academy. So please, even if it seems like it’s going to be alright, always check - I’m glad I did! 😉Good luck! 🙂
