2 doubts about "Buyers requests"

Hello guys!

I am really new here and I search about the topics in question, but I didn’t find anything that answer it so if this is a duplicated thread or if there’s anything wrong, let me know and I’ll delete or fix it, no problem!

So, my first question is: I was navigating on “Buyer Request” section and I offered someone my translation service. How do I know the person is still looking for some to do the job? The ads there are certainly open for business?

My second question is about the fact the most ads I saw there was actually sellers offering work, is that really allowed? I read plenty of things such “I am here for your service” and “I’ll do [something]”. I am asking because I am struggling with visibility (just 1 person saw 1 Gig of mine) but stil this seemed really wrong.

I’ll apreciate any reply!

If you sent a response to a buyer request, all you can do is to wait and see if they contact you back.

Ans.1: The ads will remain there unless the Buyer selects to pause/ delete it.
Which means he/she might have already selected a seller and may have already started the job although it is still being displayed.

Ans. 2: It is not allowed. Posting there could have your account suspended. Those posting there have a poor understanding of English, thus they are doing so.

This is mostly a BR problem? … Damn (pardon my language)… I am brazilian and see this kind of behavior is so frustating to me… Here is really hard, and see all this spreading to the world… is really sad… I hope you guys don’t judge me for their unfortunate acts! I really want to do my best here!

Buyer Requests can be tough to navigate and there are some issues with people from anywhere in the world (including USA and UK) who just break the rules. 🙂

Here is a wonderfull place, planty of the most beautifull things, isn’t?! There’s a lot of people who is really hurtfull, but isn’t just here, right?! 🙂
